Programs and Services
The Autism Center of Tulsa provides a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of families affected by autism in northeast Oklahoma.
These programs include:
First Signs: Providing autism information to professionals.
Autism and Developmental Screenings: Partnering with LINK Project health professionals.
Parent/Family Consultations: Individualized support sessions for families.
Parent/Family Information Kits: Resources, referrals and information.
Resource Library: Books, videos, software and other materials users can "try before they buy."
Parent/Educator Workroom: Featuring computer design station, software, and other equipment to create communication materials.
Workshops/Training: a monthly workshop series and additional training opportunities throughout the year.
Family Fun Nights: Free/low cost family events encouraging participation in community recreation.
Awareness Events: Sporting events, school presentations and other opportunities to promote awareness.
Safety/Child ID: Safety programming created with the Tulsa Police Department and other public safety agencies including tools to identify children with autism.
State Autism Conference: Partnering with other organizations to present a statewide autism conference in fall 2009.

Save the date for the second annual Smarts & Arts, a trivia night, silent auction and art show benefiting the Autism Center of Tulsa. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, 100 E. 2nd St. in downtown Tulsa. The art show features work by children and adults on the autism spectrum. More information including submission dates and guidelines will be available soon.
